Being one of the original cofounders at VAIRIX, Gastón has been running and growing the company for the last ten years. Specialized in business and management, he is also a Certified Scrum Master with 15+ years of software development services experience for the local and international markets. When he is not working alongside the team in our Montevideo office, Gastón enjoys researching about finance, having weekend barbecues with friends and family, and going fishing.

Marcelo is an engineer and MBA graduate with more than 15 years of experience acting as an interlock between the business needs of clients and the technical areas of national and multinational companies, making him the ideal leader for our team. Marcelo loves sports, barbecues and happy hours!

Juan brings more than 15 years of business experience in a wide range of industries, including retail, banking, fintech, and telecommunications. His main focus is on projects being achieved within the defined parameters, preventing and controlling risks so that the objectives are met and the expected benefits are obtained. When he’s not working along distributed teams and managing multiple projects, Juan enjoys playing football and going fishing with friends.

Mayra graduated as an accountant from Universidad de la Repúplica in Uruguay, and has seven years of industry experience. Mayra joined our team at VAIRIX in January 2019. Focused on finance, accounting and taxes, she is our Head of Administration & Finance. She believes that the right company information and insights represent an essential asset to aid in any decision making process. May loves animals, being in contact with nature, watching series, and reading great books while enjoying fine tea️. She is proactive, curious and highly detail-oriented.

Gabriel is a full-stack software developer with more than twelve years of market experience. He is our CTO at VAIRIX and is currently working with the latest technologies, such as ReactJS, React Native, Ruby on Rails, Firebase, and TrueVault. He has been working with GIT and Scrum Agile methodologies for more than five years. Gabriel is passionate about projects that involve technological challenges and has worked in small, medium-sized, and big teams alike. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, reading science fiction novels, and polishing his gaming skills.

Micaela holds a degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Talent Management. She is passionate about talent management and believes the success of an organization depends on the experiences generated for its collaborators. Micaela is motivated by participating in projects that yield positive impact and building a purpose-driven company culture.

Sofía holds a degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Digital Marketing and Customer Experience, and has several years of experience leading Marketing teams in software companies. She believes that working as a team across the whole company is the best way to deliver the best results to our customers. Sofía is a Formula 1 fan, and she enjoys music, going to concerts, exercising, watching sunsets drinking mate with friends.
